What were your water parameters, and what is your feeding schedule, amount, and the water change schedule and amount. The upper photo does indeed look like hydra, and they usually flourish in a tank with high levels of dissolved organic matter. The lower pic, I have no idea, but I would guess at snail eggs.
Hydra are related to anemones, and have the same stinging nematocyts that the anemonies do. They could cause irritation to the fish in high enough quantities, which could conceivably break down their immune system enough to allow pathogens to gain a foothold. Do you have any pictures of the fish? Also, what size tank, what kind of fish, and how big are they?
I know it's alot of questions, but we need this info to straighten this out!

heres the whole story. i left for vacation for 6 days. i didnt have anyone feed at all. when i got back i was told the first 3 days i was good the tank was cloady then it cleared up. the day i left water perams were looking good. feeding is once in morning once at night only what they clean up. water change is 30% weekly i will work on the pic, the fish mainly affected are the lm bass 6-7 inch range in a 75 gallon. i made a new thread on this under columnaris if i can get a pic i will post it on there. thanks for your help greatly appreciated. p.s. symptom list is on new thread.
