I know this can be used to add to dissolved O2 to the water.
I have a question about how long its good for and how much to dose.
I have to fumigate my house again, which means sealing the tanks air tight. Last time I did this, the fish where in a 55 gallon with a canister. I just put the media in the tank and put a power head in the tank to keep the surface agitated.
Well now I have them in a 220 with a 55 gallon as a sump. So I plan to put heaters in both tanks, and then seal them off after dosing with Hydrogen peroxide. They will have to be sealed for 5 hours. The 220 is to big to aerate with the tiny 200gph power head I have, this is why I was thinking about using Hydrogen peroxide instead.
The last fumigation was a success in terms of not losing my fish, but 2 of the 6 fumigators didn't go off. So it was not completely effective and now requires it to be done again.
Open to all suggestions.
