I was thinking about buying another armatus. It's been quite a few years ago since I owned one. What size should I buy? It will be by itself for the most part, with maybe a dither or two for the "getting off live foods 101 training" . Tank size is not an issue at all. I have that covered. Probably start it's growout in either the 125, 135, or the 200 gallon aquarium, all of which I just bought last week from a lady who's husband owned a small aquarium shop. Unfortunately, he passed away completely by surprise about 4-5 months ago. I had even considered getting 3-5 of the armatus and trying to keep a small school of them in the 200 gallon aquarium that's 7'x2'x2' in size. I figured that would be plenty of room for them until my house gets completed and then they can go into one of the large tanks in my fishroom. Anyone have any thoughts on what size armatus that I should start out with and why? Also, are multiple armatus in that size aquarium going to get along without killing each other? I can oblige them with a ton of current, as I think that might help. In the years past I have only owned armatus one at a time. I've never tried to keep a school before, so help a brother out, if you have had any experience with these cool fish. Any tips or pointers on water parameters , water changes, or anything else that you think I should know? I have always come to the conclusion that 10-20 heads are better than one. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate all the help in advance.
