Little blurry but best i can do they move so much.

central and south american cichlid mixing with african cichlids is a bad idea all its own, and hydrolycus scomberoides are not the strongest fish, i would say no, i had one and what im telling you now is from experience, he did great with my more tame cichlids, i put some more a little more aggressive fish and he didn't last too long. so i say keep him by himself, or with some tame, non aggressive fish.

But this fish is pritty mean i put my hand in there looks like hes hunting me down goes all vertical and he kills all most every tame fish i put in there.

Silver dollars and tries to bite the bala shark all the time thats why i was thinking the African cichlids or green terror might be good teach him not to be so damn mean.

Why would it be such a bad idea to have a green terror with a peacock they dont fight and seem to be geting alone just fine atm.

And this fish seems to be very stong jumped out of my tank soon as i got him (still alive) moved him 2 a new home 2 times (still alive)
took all the rocks out of his aquarium and and put sand in didnt die.

This fish has been through a lot all ready.

Congrats on keeping the Scomb healthy! How big is he? Mines 8" @ 18mo. lives wil 3x Cudas, Brycon, PBass, Datniods, BGK, Firemouth, 2X Chaleus, whip tail cat. Tank Size is gonna govern what you can cohab and how many. If the Scomb is in the 50/55 odds are cohabing isn't gonna happen. If you move up to 125 long or larger you'll start to get some options. Even tho the Scomb might seem like king of the hill at the moment the Green Terror and Eureka Red Jacobfriebergi will both easily out grow the Scomb, perhaps not in length but in overall size. Unfortunately your cohabing 3 fish that all share a very common link - all 3 fall victim to stress rather easily.

Mine is 7" or 8" doing well trying to get enough money for a bigger aquarium.
Got a canister filter for a 100 gallon but not the aquarium...
