I have kept Hydrolycus Scrombrodies for a while now and found something really neat when feeding these wicked fish. In the past they have fed on goldfish, thawed prawns and feeder guppies. They with all these feeders would eat OK and growth was slow. However feeding was noticeably much less than my Tats. Now I have a shop that is selling fat head minnows or Rosy Reds and my Hydrolycus Scrombrodies eats to excess. His belly is full to the point that I'm going to look out for over feeding. However I can say I'm expecting much faster growth rates for my Hydrolycus Scrombrodies. Which in aquarium normally grow really slow.:grinno:

Pictures sometime soon.

cant wait for pics!

Sometime soon. I have had some problems in my 360 with an unknown fish killing my Payara. I finally removed who was doing the deed and should have pictures up soon.

You mean you switched back to feeding live?

Most of my current Payara are new fish due to some deaths. They have not begun to feed on thawed prawns. However, when they are feeding on frozen prawns I still plan on feeding them occasional live food.
