whats the growth rate and how long before its to small for my 12 inch endi right now the scromb is 6-8 inch

why are you bumping so fast?
They grow around 1/8th of an inch a month, also scombs are know for kicking the bucket for no reason in the aquarium.

O_O wow didn't know that i know this one has been alive for almost a year because the lfs has had him for that long any suggestion for care etc..
I have a scomb that is the about the same size as your fish,it was sent to me over the summer.I have not been able to get it off of goldys yet but it has eaten a small dat and some cichlids that I thought were too big for it to bother.Keep it away from overactive /aggressive fish and keep its water clean and warm and like me you wait and see how long it lives.
