Hydrolycus Tatauaia with Cloudy eye

So I recently just pick this up from a friend of mine, and it has cloudy eye in one eye. I noticed it a couple hours after I was accumulating it to its new tank. Could be from fish getting moved around to much and stressed out from the move? My friend recently just got 2 days ago for his dads B-day but he no like lol. For treatmeants I have just been raising the temp and adding aquarium salt. I heard it takes awhile for the cloudy eye to go away

Keep up with your water changes do 40% water changes very 2 days. Did he jump out at all?

With me he never jumped out, and my water quality is quite pristine.

Heavy water changes has always worked for me with cloudy eyes. You said you only recently got it and your water is pristine... so maybe he started to develop cloudy eye in your friends tank? If your water is pristine then it should go away in time.
