I thought carrot tail means it has bright orange color to the tail?

Either way, this thing is huge and looks great!

use more light bro, your macro's will come out better :)

im not sure, its how she was labelled at the reptile show. she's got orange at the base of her tail where it starts to become black and white. it just doesn't show very vibrant like the ones you see out there.

thanks for the tip. that's exactly the kind of tips i need. im trying to learn how to take better photos. who needs a photography forum!?! haha.

haha yeah I've read that some people say carrot tail means most of the tail is orange, others say only part of the tail needs to be orange.

my patternless albino female has just a small ring or orange at the base of her tail, but the breeder didn't label her carrot tail.

I'm no photography expert, but I can tell you that instead of using the room light, find a light you can focus on your gecko, or just use flash next time :)

These pics are still clear and detailed, so I'd say they came out good!
