First of all that isn't a snapping turtle. Second, I think it is hypo melanistic but don't quote me on that.

Its a snapping turtle, they are angry and I like em. The hypo-melanistic is just a genetic color, so its just our opinion. Do YOU like them? If your thinking about getting one thats what matters. Personally, I like how their shell seems to be more outlined with a darker shade, but I still prefer normal snappers
