Found this guy on kijiji just now. Is it the standard "common pleco"? I dont know my plecos types very well. Is it worth $30 CDN?

not to me, but it depends i might offer $20?

1st - It is NOT a Hypostomus Plecostomus , it is a Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus(it's still a common).

2nd - Most LFS here would sell it for under $20 USD but I would not pay more then $15. I once picked up a 15 inch for $5 at a fish auction.

3rd - it may just be the picture but he looks deformed.
