With the right size tank and lots of care .. Hypothetically all bought as juvies I suppose would it be possible to keep ...

1x iridescent shark
2x bala sharks
1x redtail black shark
1x oscar
1x angel fish

possible to keep these together or where would my concerns be?

I would think the Oscar might be the problem child...

1. an oscar would probably own the angelfish in no time, oscars are brutes and angels can be delicate.
2. that iridenscent shark gets massive, 4 ft long and 90 lbs massive.
3. and your oscar will outgrow the redtail shark and eat it.

in short terms, even if you had the Monster tank to house the iridescent shark, it wouldnt work.

Alright well I already have the iridescent and redtail. Well two iridescent which I will keep both of they survive but the smaller isn't doing so well now.

So If I already have the redtail and iridescent .. what set up of fish could I go with that would work .. something close to the set up I mentioned. mainly all predators. Any idea's?

ID sharks and oscars will outgrow and eat the others.
the ID grows huge and will eat the oscar,if it doesnt get stunted and dies early.

A long time ago I had an Oscar and a Red Tail Shark in a 55 gallon tank who lived together for many many years. The Red Tail completely owned the Oscar.

But normally everybody is correct, the Red Tail would become a snack.

yeah i'm not sure how those two would work out because I know the red tail stays half small and wont grow fast. so anyone have any suggestions of a set up i could go with? maybe two angels instead of an oscar and an angel? Would like a predator set up half similar to the one i posted .
