I know Hystrix are very hard to breed.... does anyone know how long a normal pregnancy lasts?

They arnt hard to breed.. Or so i found out.. You just need 2 males to 2 females.. Often, one of the males wont breed for some reason.. You can then keep the breedig male and sell the other.. To bad i dident know that 2 months ago though (sold my pair -.- )..

the reason why I am asking.... is i bought a female motoro off of brad about 3 months ago... he had her in with a true mature hystrix ray she is only about 10" now. my male is 8" and isnt mature yet....

I am now seeing movement on her back....

The guy in the UK who bred them didn't see them copulate so not sure on the length of the pregnancy. Good luck with yours and please post some pics if you get pups!!!

yea, she moves around all the time that was the fist time i ever had the chance to watch... i had just done a water change so she was hidding a lil
