hystrix pictures

Here are some pics of my rays. In the picture with all 3 hystrix, the largest one is a male at 7.5", the other two are females at 6.5". The retic is a male also. I purchased the hystrix from late 2008- early 2009 from Aquascape.

Thanks. The male is well on his way to maturing; his claspers have really grown in the past few months. I'm guessing the females have awhile to go. Haven't seen any interest in breeding yet. Hopefully someday.

Waterchanges are 2-3 times a week, but not really big in volume. Having a family reduces the amount of fish keeping time. I like the gravel too

what size tank is that? And what are the dimensions? It looks super wide!

Tank is 72" x 36" x 21". Somewhere around 200 gals.

Thanks. Yes, the tank was custom made.

I'll post another picture of the pale female when I get back to my office. She is different, although I prefer a darker background.
