Hystrix Question

Hello i am new to MFK.. i have 6 rays and just bought 3 more Hystrix rays about 4in pups.. i got 1 eating and the other 2 are very shy and not eating or very active. i have never had the problem of my rays not eating. They are in a 40 long tank and will go into my 220 as soon as they put a little weight on and can contend with the other pups for food. ive tried calling the guy i bought them from but he refuses to answer. i was told they were eating blackworms and leaf worms. ive never owned Hystrix before is there something i am doing wrong? are they much different than marbles, pearls, leo's or motoros? please help the 2 havent ate in about 4 days.

Hystrix seem to be touchy after shipping. Give it time but keep trying nightcrawlers/earthworms cut into tiny pieces, as small as u can cut them.

X2. I've had much better luck with larger hystrix.
 
I have 2, and 1 of them eats when I throw them in, but the other waits until i leave for some reason, bc when i come back his nutt is huge haha. I use cut up night crawlers too.
 
clean water, chopped earthworms, and a dark tank is the best u can do...

hey ur from detroit.... your right around the corner from me :D
