My Hystrix haven't been eating the way they use to. I've had them on massivore for some time now and they eat it just not the way they use to. It almost seems like their sick of it. I'm getting some worms this weekend and shrimp as well to see if that gets them back to being pigs. I'm curious if anyone else has had this happen. I got a little worried at first but they are still eating. Also, they are fully developed and the male is biting the 1 female so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with a lower appetite. Any suggestions appreciated.

Check your water parameters. My Hystrix never slowed down on feeding regardless of breeding activity,in particular check the Ph and Nitrate (N03)
I feed lots of Massivore myself,in my experience fish do not get bored of a particular food.....its always a water problem that causes loss of appetite.
Good luck!

I think I have this figured out. 1 I had to switch their feeding times because of work. 2 the times were closer together than before. Also I noticed the first meal they would demolish than the second not so much. This may have been because they were still full. I checked the water and nothin has changed. Amon 0 trite 0 trate 4. Thanks again.
