Could i get 1 Hystrix stingray and keep it in 1 of my 120Gal 4x2x2Foot tank for life ?

If not for life how long for ?

if i could get 1 to go in the tank for life , could i push it too 2 or not ?

120Gal - 4x2x2Foot tank with a sand bottom filtered by 1 Fx5 ( could be getting another Fx5 soon tho for the tank not sure yet ) . Current fish and which will be staying in the tank are 1 Black belt Cichlid , 1 Jaguar Cichlid and 1 Jack Dempsy , ( thinking about getting a few Silver Dollors not sure yet for the tank ) .

probably a few years but you wil probably want at LEAST a 180 for life
i'd say for 2 at least a 220 or 260
but if you really want the best for your ray i'd say as big as you can get 300 would be great

Ok thanks , i am now going to have to ghave a look and think now about a diffrent Bottom Dwelling fish for the tank . Dont really want a Pleco and have always wanted a Ray so thats why i asked before buying one first , ( about size of tank ) .

not with those cichlids.... get rid of those fish and it would last a real long time...

Im am currenly building ( very slowly ) an indoor/ shed Trop' pond which will hold around 800/ 850Gals of water for my Silver Awo' and Oscars .

What about getting 1 or 2 Hystrix stingray now to grow out a little in the 120Gal tank and then move them over too the pond later on ?
