Hystrix update

Sorry for being a bit of a light year on this board but thought I would give an update on my Hystrix.

No breeding yet. Pulled the male about 6- weeks ago as he almost killed the female. Put him back in about 7 days after separating and he has not touched the female. Hopefully she is knocked up but I am not going to count on that. The other female is apparently not as hot as the male doesn't touch her.

Anyway my Altums are getting big, really fast and hopefully that breeding starts to happen before longIMG_2285.JPG

Looking good Rudy, hopefully she is knocked up for you. How many Tiger SD, thought I counted a dozen......

Yep, one of mine also. I have 1/2 dozen plus 3 Blackberries which is another favorite of mine. Even if its a hybrid.
 
Hope they breed for you! What is the size difference between the male and the females?

Not yet. Will go in my 340 with the marble eventually and about 16 Scats. Cant keep them in the 600 with the black rays because my armatus will pick them off and I dont want that. )-:

Have you lost any to rays?
 
Hope he knocked her up. Do the rays ever try to eat the sds? I wanted to buy a few nice sds but I've heard that some peoples rays like to eat them.
