Hi guys, just sat looking at my tank and noticed this on my hystrix, has anyone else ever noticed/experienced it on rays? TIA

What are you referencing? The dent in the head? If so it just needs to eat and put on weight

Yes the dent as such, but I've only noticed it today and I'm always looking at my rays...Yes someone else said this, I feed twice a day prawns mussels etc and he eats like a race horse :/

Dents also happen to a ray under stress. Check water params and watch any tankmates for possible harrassment.

What size is it and is it wild caught or captive? It does look thin, and with eating the amount of food you said it should have more weight on it. If wild, was it treated for parasites?

+1 on the parasites if it's eating well and still has dent.

5" it's wild caught, yes I've treated my self twice since owning it
