I ABSOLUTELY HATE ACRYLIC!!!!!!!

ok so I spent the $$$ on a tenecor 750 show tank for the living room of my new house. Was going to stock it nicely and have it laid out very presentable when done. It is filled and running and the FIRST time I clean the front panel some sand must have got in the cleaning tool. I cleaned it with the lights very dim at night, looked fine. the next morning there are tons of scratches throughout the front panel of my new $5k tank. i cannot believe it scratched this bad and that easy. I don't know if I'm upset, pissed, ready to give up, or what but it is so discouraging....

That sucks,I do know people that did the same thing to glass tanks though.Got to be careful with those algae pads.IMO the scraper blades(teflon for acrylic) are worth the extra work.

Ok, Il buy it for 100. I hate scratches but for that price I would ignor them haha. That stinks isnt there some type of warranty?

i had the same thing happen to me on my 55 and i hated myself. i cant imagine doing that to a 750g!
