I was in a chinese restaurant near my house, when I saw they had a beautiful green asian arowana all cramped up in a 125 gallon tank. This fish was probably several years old, and at least 2.5 ft (probably close to 3). It was visibly having trouble turning around in this small tank. There was small part of me that wanted to go back with a shotgun and pull a delta force style hostage rescue on this fish. It was sad to see such a beautiful fish so poorly kept. I don't understand why they wouldn't invest a little more money to buy a bigger tank for this rare, expensive, adult fish. I can never go back into this place and look at that fish. This is too bad, because they make a pretty good shrimp lo mein.
