well let me start this off by telling you why i took a long break. about 3 years ago, prob a little longer, a flash flood happened and my hobby room went under water. all of my fish died and i gave up the hobby for awhile. i had around 5 generations on fish going that i loved and most of the were named. well i started 2 fish tanks again a couple months ago and put silly fish in them just to cycle them and make sure they safe for nice fish. the silly fish are all alive and healthy so the hunt for a fish that i love is on. i purchased a zz fry about 3 months ago for 10 bucks and hes doing great. about 4 inches and has a hump going. but hes nothing special. i just like him because its nice to have a fh again. well today i walked into petsmart of all places and saw this short bodied faded fh. my jaw dropped and i payed for him immediately. he is smaller then 2 inches and already has a small hump. here is 2 pics of him, 1 where he is acclimating in the bag in a 55g and the other showing the price. i couldnt believe it. 27 bucks for a fish 3 years ago i woulda payed 300 for. i feel like i won the lottery
