Well Some of you said, "you can't keep aros in a 65 gal." and you were right! hah. I put an ad up on craigslist looking for something along the lines of a 125 gallon. A lady about 25 mins away from me replied and told me to come take a look at her used 125 gallon with stand for $195. i thought it was a good price. I went not expecting to come home with anything though. Well I get to her store, where she had the tank in the back and her store. She told me that its probably allready sold. I was ready to leave and i noticed a much nicer larger tank back there too. I said well how much is this one. She said she didnt really wanna sell it. So i said here is 250 cash ill take it. She mulled it over and said YES. She didnt know how many gallons it was. Turns out its an oceanic 210 gal with a really nice cherry stand. WHAT A STEAL!!! haha, it just so happned that she rented u-haul vans at her store so naturally my buddy and i brought it home. We were up til 5 am setting it up. I put the water in my 75 in it and the gravel along with another 150 lbs, and 10 packs of bio spria. The last fish to go in was the aro............My friend caught him in a huge net and put him in a bucket that was half new-half old water to acclimate him. When the time came to put him in the new tank is when all hell broke loose. My aro proceeded to leap out of the bucket behind the new (fully-filled) tank behind the wall. We were running around "what are we gonna do holy-S***, when finally my buddy sees him in the corner. He reached down and grabbed the flopping fish and dumped him into the tank. I got mad at my aro and said "You moron how are you gonna go killing yourself when I just got you this new tank?!?!" Anyway he's fine. So as of not the tank consists of my 10" silver aro, a green sevrum, gold sevrum,blue acara, firemouth, jack dempsey, wolf cichlid, pike cichlid, eartheater 3 plecos and my 7" ghost knife. Ill put some pictures up later. just wanted to share the news.
