I am looking for a catfish that will act like a RTC but not get nearly as big i was thinking somewhere in the 1 foot-1 1/2 foot mark. Any advice would be appreciated.
THanks:thumbsup:

as u can see that is an ocean dwelling catfish. should be better to ask in marine section as most cats discussed here if not all are fresh to brackish.

Gulper Catfish are pretty cool. I'd take one over an RTC any day. they have some aspects of the rtc....eat like crazy, are people friendly...but they only grow to about 1 foot. like the RTC, they can only be housed with other species for a little while. unless the other species out grow them by a huge margin.

if your looking for a saltwater cat, My coral cat is pretty personable.

Yea i acctually just asked my lfs if they can order one for me( He said about 150-200). I was watching some videos of them on youtube the other day and well they seem ****ing awesome.
Just what i was looking for. Id most likely keep him alone but at the moment i have to sort out a home for him. Can't go with my jardini because i dont want to lose him.
Other fish tank is a community with oscar johanna pike snakehead L200 and a common pleco. I have a bare 55 sitting that i could house him in but id have to ask the rents if i can use it. As having 2 tanks is already enough for them.
Know where i can get some for much cheaper than 150+?

Was not aware that was a saltwater catfish. Misread one of my lfs stock list online.
