Well, I have been for the past month.
Last month I purchased 2 4-5'' Ocellaris Peacock bass and man they eat like pigs. I thought it would be hard to feed, but I feed them guppies first few days. So I threw in earthworms one day and them snap them down like no tommrow. They won't accept shrimp or pellets, that my niger and rtc eat but the pbass have doubled in size.
So I have decided to make a 1200 gallon pond a pbass pond. I most likely will stock occels, monos, tems, and my catfish.
Today, I am debating on picking up some 1.5-2'' occels and start growing them out in my 20 long...
LET THE CICHLIA ADDICTION BEGIN FOR ME!!!!
I've always been a fan of pbass and now I can get big into them.
