I am so amazed !!! flagtail

I have a tiny 2.5 inch flagtail and it has mostly cleaned up my big 300 gallon aquarium of algea on the rocks, glass, plastic plants, I never would have thought it would do all this expecially in only about one week, its sooooooooooo amazing. Bob

If you keep an eye on them, you'll notice they also do a great job surface skimming.

Yeah, I just got 3 of them for my 300 also and they're freakin awesome! Now I dont have to worry about getting a pleco and having it buff my acrylic up.

getting along so far? i've always heard of serious aggression issues toward each other. my two only hung out peacefully for about 2 weeks after i got them.

They get along fine. They actually school occasionally. The two I got here in Orlando are always side by side. While the one I got in Miami is a little bit of an outcast, but still hangs out with them a little.

Only thing to watch out for is IF they go after slime coat!!!!

Mine used to be a great tank cleaner. He has now become lazy and just waits for me to feed the other fish and steal there food. Still a great fish i love to see him suck flakes off the surface. looks really funny from above.

yeah they have kindof weird mouths, it even took the algea off the large driftwood too and to top it all off it is brown algea not green!!!!!

They are the best algae eaters ever!
