I just went to one of my LFSs and I was walking through their outdoor pond section...Which is pretty cool.....and low and behold I see a 3 inch koi flopping on the ground in the dirt. Nearly step on the little dude. I couldn't see him that well cause he was covered in dirt.....BUT I saved him.

I'f I wasn't there that little koi would be a goner.

mine didnt they even thought i was trying to steal it!
they said dont touch the fish

but that was the guy that didnt know me.

It's happened to me a few times at my LFS were i work on a week end.

maybe the fish was trying to end it... Its like the police stopping someone from killing themselves... to lock them up to be watched to make sure they do not do it again... Let the fish make it's choice... How sad is it when you can no longer decided your own death... poor fish...

Of course when i save a fish, its because i dont want it to have to live in the lake where i caught it from. so i eat it
