I BELEIVE THESE ARE MPIMBWE BLUE

very nice looking fronts. I have 10 F1 Mpimbwe blues but they are between 2.5-3.5" so I couldn't really compare to see if they look the same. where did you get them from? 
I BOUGHT THEM FROM A LOCAL IMPORTER HERE IN CINCY. HIS NAME IS PETE SHEPERD, I HAVE BOUGHT FRONS FROM HIM BEFORE AND THEY ARE EXCELLENT FISH! TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF THEIR SIZE I MEASURED THE WHITE PLASTIC ROOT YOU SEE THE ONE FISH SWIMMING BY IN THE MIDDLE PICTURE AND IT MEASURES BETWEEN 9-10 INCHES.
wow, they're even a bit bigger than I thought they were. awesome 
have you asked Pete if he knows what variant they are? oh and by the way, Pete sucks. Every month on the GCAS trading post he puts up a list of awesome fish that he has for sale and I always want to buy at least a dozen different fish from him. I swear if I bought what I wanted he'd probably get around $100-$150 per month from me. He needs to start getting in some fish that I have no desire in so I'll stop spending money.
anyway, all joking aside Pete is a great guy with some awesome fish. In January I bought an L142 pleco, a Synodontis soloni and 6 Synodontis schoutedeni from him. All of them are doing great and the schoutedeni have grown a lot since then. There were a few things on his most recent list I wanted to buy but I can't remember what they were. I'm not going back to look either because I still may make it to this months meeting next Sunday and I don't want to be tempted to buy more from him. LOL

Here is a link to the latest list of cichlids he posted for sale. it may not be a complete list of what he has, it could just be some new stuff he's gotten in. His email is listed in the thread so you can always email him and see if he has any or can get any more in. His fish are really second to none. He always has some awesome catfish in.
