It was used and kept in a bag for about 2 months (wet a little bit too) So I gave it two 1 tablespoon per gallon of freshwater baths. Since I have soaked it 24 hours and rinsed it and dried it probably 5 times. Is it safe to use yet ?

Just rinse it until the bleach odor is gone. Than it's good to go. :)

I bleached it because it came with a eclipse 1 hood used. the previous owner put it in a bag wet for two months. Since I couldn't find an alternative wheel I just bleached this one. So what is it guys safe to use or soak or dry it or what? Thanks ducati BTW not discounting your advice.

Running it in a tank with no fish isnt feasible as the eclipse 1 is running on my ten gallon right now. I could fill up my 15 tall and run it for a day or so but that would be a PITA and leave my ten with no hood or filter

Okay, this is what I do and I've never had any problems. Whenever I bleach my bio-wheel I wash it very well. Then, I put it in a container, add water until it's completely covered, and the main thing is I put about 2 capfuls of water conditioner into the water. Let it sit overnight, rinse off and you're ready to go. Bleach is chlorine and one of the things water conditioners do is remove chlorine. Never had any problems, The Doctor.

Thanks buddy ill do that!

Its soaking in a 1.5 gallon jar full of water with enough dechlorinator to remove 30 gallons worth of chlorine. Sufficient ?

if you haven't taken it out from it's bath, rinse it again a couple times before you use it. It should be fine but an extra rinse won't hurt.
