i bought a mosquitofish today.

she was for 11 cents in a feeder tank. couldn't belive she was there. i named her dottie.
any advice welcome.
tank is at about 75 degrees with a snail and a few shells which i cleaned. this setup in a 5 gal ok?

I think its Ok how you have it set up. I like these fish myself

make sure you have a lid! i lost a bunch because of no lid.

Dottie will do fine in 5gal. Mosquitofish are very interesting and they are usually good hardy fish for begininners. But breeding is hard if they're in tank.

onw f my LFS sells gambusia as "feeder guppies" in one tank for cheap, then in another tank for pond owners under "mosquito fish" for more expensive haha
