I have been searching for 2 months for a 15"+ silver around my area and just haven't found one for the right price. I have only seen one baby silver and that was 2 hours away and I thought the drive and price of gas is going to make it too expensive.

So, I walk into my local lfs to look for overflow box and this lil 5-6" fish caught my eye. I walk over and see another silver. I broke down right there and paid $50 for him. It's a lil pricey for the size but what the heck. Ill get some pics soon of his 65g grow out tank.

It was the first silver I seen at the ONLY lfs near me. They have a 15" black but want 350 hahahahahahahah and a 15" jar for 250 i think

May I ask what is a grow out tank?

its a tank used to raise small fish until they are large enough to be kept with whatever their owner plans to keep them with

A tank for him to grow up larger in for prep. of being put in one of my larger tanks. I think hes going in my 180 with my 2 oscars but he will be a expensive feeder fish if I add him now. Also as a quar. tank for parasites ext.

That price is not too bad,they had a 5'' Silver at my local LFS fo $55.00.
