Thank you!!Good luck with your new project.
I've often wondered that myself. If you look up albino the definition is lack of pigment. Blue is a pigment.....yes?Picked up my group of ten blue eyed long fin albino BN today (if their eyes are blue are they still albino?)
I spread them out between all my tanks as grow outs, eventually I’ll just keep a breeding trio....I’ve told myself this is the last new fish for a while!!!

It does say "usually" pink though. Not "always" pink.
So I dunno?![]()
That’s what I though.I've often wondered that myself. If you look up albino the definition is lack of pigment. Blue is a pigment.....yes?
noun
- a person or animal having a congenital absence of pigment in the skin and hair (which are white) and the eyes (which are usually pink).
Your most likely correct about the genetic slurry haha they still remind my of swimming dragons with the long float fins+1
I’ve got 3, two girls and one boy... one of the girls looks more brown as she’s gotten older, the boy has blue eyes... I’ve seen them sold as lemon - blue eye? The other female is albino with pink eyes...
Someone who knows will chime in...
Just a slurry of genetics probably ?
