Picked up my group of ten blue eyed long fin albino BN today (if their eyes are blue are they still albino?)

I spread them out between all my tanks as grow outs, eventually I’ll just keep a breeding trio....I’ve told myself this is the last new fish for a while!!!

You aren't an addict until you're trying to figure out how to fit a 500 gallon tank in your house yet, plenty of time before you become an addict .

I've often wondered that myself. If you look up albino the definition is lack of pigment. Blue is a pigment.....yes?

I’ve got 3, two girls and one boy... one of the girls looks more brown as she’s gotten older, the boy has blue eyes... I’ve seen them sold as lemon - blue eye? The other female is albino with pink eyes...

Someone who knows will chime in...

Just a slurry of genetics probably ?

Your most likely correct about the genetic slurry haha they still remind my of swimming dragons with the long float fins

I have a Blue eyes albino as well just normal fin tho
