I CANT FIND MY PERCULA?!?!

one min he was there and the next hes gone i cant belive it now its a bout 15 16 hours later im guessin hes gone for good but i cannot fig out where this clown went..the only thing that ticks me off is when i got my two clowns they were the only ones in the tank together in the LFS and they were babys so i fig if i got them they would mate and they stuck together untill i lost my one...any ideas of where it would be i checked EVERYWHERE my condy anemone could have eating him but then again i probably would of seen him in the anemone i dont keep my eye off the tank

What else is in the tank? chances are it's in the rocks messing with your head.

i have a yellow tang hippo tang frogsprawn coral condy anemone and another clown i hope the clown is hiding but its not normal for him not to be with the other one...the thing that sux is i got them as a pair they were the only ones in the tank in the lfs so i was hoping they would mate...if i did loose him and introduce another clown the same size would there be a chance the one left and the new one would mate?

Clowns mate fairly easy so yeah should be good.

What about when you feed? he should come out then.

If not you might have to go in and move some stuff around.

if he doesnt come out some, start moving some rock around. a decaying body is no good for anyones system.

hes gotta be gone i will try n feed them in a lil bit its just the one clown now i never saw them apart i have looked EVERYWHERE tho i cant even find a body i checked around the tnk to see if he has jumped out NOTHING i dont understandi hate to move every piece of live rock around and stir things up but i might have to..last time i lost a butterfly i couldnt find him for a couple days the day i found him he was all bones and all these worms and i guess the cleaner shrimp ate the rest of him

just fed them no sign of him also moved alot of the lr around wich stirred up alotta stuff and there isnt even sign of bones i mean the only other option is the filter sucked him up wich is probably impossible becase it still has suctin and probably would be clogged or the condy ate him because i did feed him his first silverside the other day maybe he got fish hungry lol but then again there would atleast be signs of bones i mean theres nothing not even decaying flesh flying around or anything its like a mystery lol

I had this happen twice. The first time he was stuck in a small cave in the lr. The second time I found him in a bucket behind my tank the third time I looked in it.

yeah ive looked all around the tank on the floor no where to be found...that is a good idea tho i do have alotof hollow rock maybe hes stuck in a rock what would i do?? let him find his own way out?
