Hello everyon, I bought a snowflake eel two days ago. I saw him all afternoon. I have not seen him since. I do not know if he is dead or not. I have checked around the tank, so he has not gotten out as far as I can see. I do have plenty of rock in my tank though. I just think it is weird I haven't seen him in two days. Any help?

This is crazy, but if you have a hang on filter, check it because my snow flake eel was in thier for a few days until I finally checked in thier....good luck!

check all filters, hoses, tubes
sometimes they go ( or try to go) under the rock moving some of the sand. make sure none of you rock has collapsed on him. putting in a pvc pipe in and mabey he will move in and you can always find him. gl.

i second the pvc pipe idea, i have 4 chuncks in my stock tank with my eels, my whitemouth doesnt use them but i think he may be too fat to feel comfortable in them but both my snowflakes my g. tile and my orange toadfish are always hanging out in them, they work well for other kinds of fish too,
