ive been looking for last 2 hours for this drawing in cad of a green pretty sure yellow tank stand. i was going to rip some ideas off of it for my 8ft by 5 foot wide by 32inch tall.
thats exactly i thought it was for a 360gallon thank you very much. now to find a way to be able to remove/add a 69 by 63inch sump. bracing wll be tricky.
I had a 72" sump under my stand before I replaced it with a dual sump setup. If you have room on the end of the tank for the sump to slide in and out my stand design will work for you.
yeah i wish my sides were exposed since every part of my stand is 4 by 4s ill brace with angles where the 63inch opening has to be. but thats a little time off i got to focus on the tank first. is it normal for people building it to constantly make it bigger? started by 8 by 3 by 3. now im at 8 by 6 by 32inch
Yes, it's normal to keep making them bigger and changing stuff around. I just finished my build a couple of months ago and am already planning the next one...bigger of course. Have you considered 2 smaller sumps?
well im useing egons bio tower idea into a 300gallon rubbermaid sump with a couple inches of ceramic rings, and lucky bamboo. ill be using a reeflo hammerhead pump, unless, i find a faster pump.
