what can i do to hide my air hoses? no matter what i do i cant hide them good enough. i was thinking about empting my tank, and siliconing them into the corners, not sure it would work though. let me know what has worked the best for all you guys?
Siliconing them into the corners works good, its just alot of work on a tank already set up. i sometimes zip-tie mine to the back of the intake tube on my hang on filters, that way only a few inches is visible running from the bottom of the intake to the gravel.
Use the black tubing as it is less visible. Run it straight down a corner, and under your substrate, and use suction cup clips to hold it in place. That's what I do, and it's pretty inconspicuous.
You can also use a piece of rigid CPVC cut to fit the height you need in the tank corner and then spray paint it black. Cut small notches in top & bottom to feed the air line tubing in to prevent kinking.
You can also purchase rigid air line tubing and use it for the corners.
thanks every one i already suction cupped them but it was not good enough. i like the black tubing idea though i think ill give it a shot.
can you just spray pant stuff and put it in your tank i think ill just buy black plumbing pvc
I don't know what your setup is but you could put a Venturi on the return line and just inject air into the return flow. There would be no air lines inside the tank at all.
