I Can't Resist Showing Off My Convicts

The reputation of Convict cichlids (Amatitlania nigrofasciata) as being wonderful, vigilant parents is well known. Although considered by many to be a beginners fish (that you move on from, or provide you with a ready supply of feeders), to me they're more than that. I'll make sure that they'll always be represented in my fish room. Here's a video of a pair in a 70G tank guarding a school of free swimming fry..... a wonderful scene! Connnvvviiicccttt Powwwwweeeeerrrrr!!!
