I had 5 guppies, 1 died because of dropsy. So the others seem fine. But then I notice one male was pooping out a white string ! Both of my female are rubbing against rocks and artficial plants ! And one female guppy is darting all over the place. I see no rotting fins, no white dots, no fuzzy puffs. No worms coming out of anything. The female gills look slightly pink. The water condition is fine. Their food is frozen bloodworms, flakes. The water temperature is atm 86 . Its a 10 gallon tank. I have an aerator running. And a filter going. I have one normal guppy. He seems fine. Just flirting. Showing off. But im really worried with my othr guppies. They are in a main tank. Because I do not have a quarantine tank. I don't know what to do.
So symptoms are
2 female guppies Rubbing against rocks and plants, darting, and 1 male guppy constantly pooping out white strings.

In your same post with a different title I stated the following:

Really, all of this points to water quality issues. When's the last time you tested the water? Ammonia, nitrite should be zero, and nitrate should be below twenty. If these aren't the readings you're getting, that's the problem. "Dropsy" isn't really a disease, or illness, it's merely the name of a group of symptoms that are caused by poor water quality. The flashing that your females are doing is almost definitely due to ammonia burn. Please give actual numbers on your water parameters; my guess is this is related to water quality, and the only way to fix it is to fix your water quality. Ten gallon tanks hold about eight gallons of water after displacement from gravel and decorations, and that's really very little volume for the number of fish you have. Your temp is a little high. I'd shoot for 78-82 here. Any higher, and you're wasting money on electricity, as well as increasing metabolism of the fish, causing them to eat and poop more, which spells trouble in such a small volume of water. What type of filtration are you using? The guy with the white strings could be suffering from a bacterial infection, which would be treated with Maracyn 1 or 2, but honestly, if the water quality is bad, he'll never get better anyway, no matter how many antibiotics you dump in the water. Water parameters are key for diagnosis here. Again, please provide actual numbers.

I also mentioned that your pleco isn't a great idea, because it will outgrow your tank and poop a lot, which the small volume of water you have isn't going to handle well.

I agree with justonemoretank. You wouldn't do any harm by treating with Jungle Parasite Clear, it's available about anywhere and is the cheapest. But if your water quality is bad and the temp stays that high with guppies then they're probably not going to make it anyway. Check your water-ammonia, nitrites & nitrates. In the meantime do a 60% daily water change.

dont mean to post steal but mu gups are at 85 all the time and i have a few hundred and they just get on with their lives quicker

well here are the information on my tank
Tank size:10 g
pH:umm i cant seem to remember if it was a 6.8 or 7.0 or 7.2
ammonia:0
nitrite:0
nitrate:20
kH:no clue
gH:no clue
tank temp: 85

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):
-male guppy: poops out white strings, sometimes he has clamp fins, he eats
-other male: he's fine, swims perfectly, dances, but he doenst eat as much
-baby female guppy: bent spine, scrapes on gravel, rocks, eats fine, has 2 little white dots, but it has been like that forever, and it doesnt move or has any more then 2, swims normal, doesnt dart
-older female guppy: darts everywhere, rubs on gravel, decor, and rocks, eats fine, shes just so darty

Volume and Frequency of water changes:
water changes: every week , 25%

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank:
i added 2 table spoons of aquarium salt about 3 to 4 weeks ago

Tank inhabitants:
2 male guppy
2 female guppy
1 pelco

and if i do have bad water quality, how do i fix that issue?

i appreciate all the response that are coming in.

Did you just test your tank recently? When did you test? I'm sorry to bug you about this, but water quality changes rapidly in any aquarium, and especially in such a small one. Also, so many of your problems point to water quality issues. The 'dartiness' that you speak of could very well be attributed to high temperatures. To put it simply, a fish in extra-high temperatures is a fish whose immune system is weakened. Any fish in any situation which is other than the norm for it is working with a weakened immune system, and will get ill more quickly than one who is in ideal conditions. Why are you adding salt? These are not brackish fish. I know that it is one of those 'aquarium myths' that salt helps, but that's from way back when, when people didn't do water changes and the salt helped neutralize nitrate. Now, we know better, and if a fish isn't sick, there's no reason to add salt, unless it's a brackish or saltwater fish! There are many who will argue with me on this, but I really don't see the point: The fish is freshwater; let it be freshwater! There are genuine reasons to add salt, but they all deal with illness, and no freshwater fish should live for the duration in salty water. Again, this would stress the fish by keeping it less-than-ideal conditons, thereby weakening the immune system. I don't think this is the cause of your current problems, as you water changes have likely taken most of that salt out, but I wanted to include it. What type of filtration do you have? Again, what date are those water tests coming from? I just don't see any other answer for what you have going on. It could be parasites, as was mentioned, but white stringy poop sounds bacterial to me, and flashing sounds like ammonia burn.

I only do frequent WC, no heater, no filter, and they breed like crazy.
They seem to spawn every time I renew their water.
WC are the trick for me.

I would treat for parasites ASAP, at this point you need to rid the tank of the parasite causing the symptoms
