I was feeding my big fish and i had my head about a fot away from the waterlevel and i felt a wet sap on my face and i looked and realised that it was my perruno catfish! His wiskers are huge easily 16". I thought it was really funny.
I couldnt believe it! My cat slapped me!

a whisker glazed across your cheek and you say you were slapped.
Would have been better if it was a actual cat that pawed at you.
My big boy's whiskers can come out of the top of his pond over 14" when he's looking for food. His whiskers are relatively short compared to a marble cat, but they are really thick and he'll taste my hand if I hold it over the water. Sometimes he'll stick his foot long head out of the water to grab food also.
