I.D. continued...

Some of you guys might remember when I posted pictures of an unknown fish from the amphilophus species. There was a large debate about whether it was a plain red devil, or a barred midas. Well, the little guy has grown about an inch, and is still unidentified. Here are some updated pictures:

Looks like a Barred Midas to me. Here's a Barred Midas I got not long ago and you can see it's identical.

all look like RD or Midas or a mix of the 2. i honestly don't see either being "barred". those spots will probably fade away as it gets older, and then it will "peel" to a orange color of somesort.

Mine are F1 Barred Midas from pure breed wild caught parents. I know for a fact they arent RD's or Midas/RD hybrids or the orange variety.

Yeah, I'm beginning to think its a barred midas too. the little guy has developed some dark stripes in the past couple days.
