well it was listed as a texas at the LFS i have not bout one. i took the pic on my phone, sorry for bad quality.

i think its a carpinte, can you tell me if its a carpinte or not and if so what type??

Yes I do now, my guess would be Herichthys carpinte Blue Texas.

Well if he has more greenish spangles on him I'd say Herichthys carpintis, but if it is a blue texas then it is a Herichthys carpinte escondido
