I found this at my LFS, I saw it's mouth was expanded so I knew it was mouthbrooding, I bought it, but having only general knowledge of the africans, I am puzzled as to what species it is, any ideas? And what should I do to increase the chance of viability of the fry? Unfortunately I cant find the paperclip image to post the image!!!

I need help!!!! I'm worried she'll get stressed and swallow the fry, can I just get the fry out or would that hurt them?
When she opens her mouth do you still see yellow eggs or tiny tiny eyes staring at you?

One thing is you don't knwo how long she was holding, who bred with her, ect.. But atleast you got babies... Since she didn't spit/swallow when she was in the bag she must've been holding for a while.
She kinda looks like an electric blue female. I need a better pic of her.
She let at a few fry but her throat is still packed! I have the fry separate now as for rght now this tank is not safe for them.
wow, you were able to catch some? I'm the worst fish catcher in the world, the fry that are born in my tank either make it or end up food.
What fish were in the tank with her? You could have unknown hybrids in which case babies are really not worth growing other than keeping them for life.
I'm almost certain she's from malawi and that she's either a blue peacock cichlid or a Zebra cichlid.
