low grade texas X Flowerhorn is my guess. Did you tell them that its not an Umbee?
Those LFS are one of the reasons some cichlid hobbyists hate us, hybrids mislabeled as pure.
Are you still doing your Manaconda project?

yeah it was my brother fish he grew out but just got rid of, and yes i will accomplish the MANFESTAETION, i got 3 wild 4" red terrors , 7 3" jags , and 1 7" red terror who ima try and breed with a 7" f1 male jag ,

Low grade Texas? Pure breds can be low grade now? As for what it is, just because it has spangling does not make it crossed with a Texas. My guess would probably be TS X ZZ. Or a low grade KML

or any newbie , the freakin store is selling them for $24 each and the one we took them is 2" bigger than the rest of the ones they had, my brother bought it from superway a month ago for like $8 or something as a flowerhorn
