I.D. My New Petsmart Pick-Up. Marbled Crayfish?

i just got this at petsmart, it was free. someone dropped it off and i picked it up!

i thought it looked like a marbled cray, so i grabbed it.

if it's a marbled, i'm keeping it.

if not, it's bichir food.

Well if it looks like a marbled one why not keep it.

Whether it's marbled or not IDK, but for the cray's sake it IS marbled.

Purely basing judgement on the pattern only, i'd say its a marble cray...

btw, how big is the cray in the pic... coz i just noticed it looks like it could still be quite young?

probably 1.5" nose to tail

do you have very hard water? That would be the only case in which they will be that color blue, otherwise they would be a light brown color.

my water is slightly hard but that wouldn't have any bearing on it yet, i took that picture 30 seconds after i put it in my tank.
