don't know if its an african because mine has no fin on its back. Maybe we are talking about 2 different fish but I don't thinks it is an african

i think its a notopterus notopterus..it's more agressive than the chitala species and doesn't grow quite as big

im selling him now wasnt realy what i was hoping for lol thort it mite of been Chitala lopis until i saw the head shape
