I don't think anyone could say for sure at this size. Looks like a regular parrot to me with a mouth that can close. I prefer parrots like this and I think its a great looking fish. However, parrot enthusiast would call it low grade.

It may not be a regular parrot I am just saying at this size they all pretty much look alike. Only your source can tell you what it is for sure. When it grows out you will get a better idea.

yep I'd concur w low grade BP.
Strains closer to the Midas/Synspilum original stock (or what ever) always look better. The BP was just a genetic mistake on the way to mammon and kkp that turned into a profitable cull.
What a terrible title though low grade BP we really should come up with something better.
