Never kept Africans before, got this little guy given to me the other day, what is it? its about 2.2".
Dont mind the whole worm its crapping out, I guess he couldnt chew it and swallowed it whole .

Ok so the problem is that a lot, and I mean a lot of the mbuna look like that when they are young. Now just because it is the most common here I am just going to give you a list of mbuna.

Now just to give you a flavor... I have even seen young Metriaclima greshakei that look like that.

OH and remember don't give you guys too much protein... IE worms=bloat. Green veges and Brine shrimp are the only treats you really should give him.

Anyways have fun, and post an updated shot when he gets older and is showing who he really is.
