I bought this cichla 1 day before I bought the Rapps Brokopondo ocellaris cichla. The Broko bass actually chases this bass occaisinally.

The tank I got this guy from had temensis blacked out.

I was told the batch in the tank was supposed to have come in as temensis but they were not temensis. The store employees have no idea what this is.

Is this a mono , orino , ocellaris or really is temensis.

It is exactly 3.5 " long.

Cichla experts what do you think.

I am having a hard time with this one... The shape is very similar to Tem. but it does not have the normal markings that we normally see for Tem... head shape is similar to Mono and Ocell... but the lack of lower back arch has me stearing away from that... Orinos usually start to show spangling even smaller than that... Only three bars... no spangling at all..

Im stumped... And VERY intrigued to see what others think it is... Where did you get it? do they have any left and will they ship! I want a few! :D

No way is it Temenesis. Here is my Tems for direct comparison
