LFS really have no idea what theyre selling. i looked up red fin borleyi and they look nothing like this, so what is it.

Those pics are kinda grainy but it does kinda look like a juvenile Borleyi But the dorsal looks like some sort of peacock.

Juvenile/female red fin borleyi look [pretty much like the fish you posted. Males end up looking totally different.

Nice I just bought one for 8 or 9 bucks juvenile looks exactly like this one I head they grow quickly lucky I have a big hap tank

i think its a peacock due to the body shape borleyi are more rounder

I disagree Andy, they get "taller" as they age. When they are young they look like the picture.

I agree that a more clear picture would help this out A LOT, some background would help a little, size, where you purchased it (petsmart wouldn't have a Borleyi), and what it was labeled when you got it. Usually gives clues. LFS as slack as some are, usually can be close.
