$1 at LFS, first one died within 8hours, I think my little jag might have killed him but didn't look beat up at all. Anyways, returned him for this guy.. Just wondering what kind of texas he is. I'm thinking I might go back and get 1-2 more for only $1, I will be able to breed these all day long..

wish I would have known that before.. My jag is supposedly half texas but is a mean little bastard, probably the most aggressive fish I've ever kept. Even worse than my big 1' midas.

I planned on mushing most of my 10g and 30g together into the 55. All the large aggressive fish you see in my tanks are all under 3" still accept for the Midas and JD. And I was buying a 130g but some ***** on craigslist tried to rip me off so now I have to take her to court.. Never send money western union!

I have both species and keeping my jag with them is a big no no! My jag has a nice personality towards other fish.Texans do fine until they breed (they're chiclids) then i just seperate them from the main tank.

I had my gf pick another one up for me while I was at work. I don't know how to sex these but I can tell you that I now have 1 male and 1 female for sure. They're both the same exact kind of fish but they are both very different looking.

I currently have them in a 55g with 12 rosies.. My jag/texas hybrid killed the first one I think so I won't be putting these guys together any time soon. I really don't know what the hell I'm going to do with this crazy little jag, hes currently my smallest fish but picks on everything more than twice or more his size. I might try him out with my butti and my petsmart trimac in the 55g or 60g.

oii you are more then over stocked you need to think about downsizing i know i know the addiction has hit find something you like not try out like 30 different fish remember these fish are alive they are not like a pair of shoes you cant try them out then decide you dont like them and throw them away !!!
