at first glance it does look a bit like the L262, but it has stripes as well as the spots.
someone suggested it was a "monte dourado", but im pretty definate it isn't that either.
I found the pic, someone is selling it as L318...
Looking at the L book right now, and according to their ONE side view photo, I'd say no way on L-318. Looks like a variant of either L-260 or L-262, or perhaps a melding of the two
yea, theres no chance of it being a 318. Its hard to tell apart some of the hypancistrus, just because a lot of the IDing is done purely on patterning. A hybrid crossed my mind. These are wild caught though (not that it doesnt happen in the wild)
Since those 2 L-#s are from the same area I'd say a hybrid isn't unlikely. I've gotten some in that looked just like that in the past and just called them a Queen Arabesque.
